My Fico is the company that started credit scoring. My Fico is the consumer division of Fair Issac. You have probably heard of Fair Isaac scores in the past. Being in business since the 1960’s, My Fico has grown to become the leader in credit related services.
My Fico works with the three leading credit reporting agencies which are Equifax, Trans Union, and Experian. Working closely with all 3 credit agencies sets My Fico apart from the rest of the credit scoring companies.
For anybody looking to get approved on any kind of mortgage, car loan, or credit card it is important to know what your credit score is. My Fico is considered to be the leader in providing credit scores and is the company which most financial institutions work with. This makes more sense to work with My Fico when looking for a credit report.
Some of the products My Fico has involve a credit score watcher and a tool which can correct errors on your credit report. This is all done automatically. My Fico also provides coaching on how to get out of debt and monitors your credit score in case of changes. Some added bonuses My Fico handles for you is identity theft insurance and customer support via phone or email. If My Fico thinks your identity is being stolen you will be alerted as soon as possible.
When you sign up with My Fico you will get the first month free. After the first month there is a one time fee of $89 and a $9 month subscription fee. The service provided will watch your Equifax credit report daily and monitor your credit scores weekly. You will be alerted if you qualify for lower rates on loans or other financial products.
Working with My Fico would be beneficial to the person who has had some credit problems in the past and is looking to get back on track. With My Fico providing all of the credit repair needs you may have it would be better to do everything with one company and not a bunch of them. After you repair your credit then its up to you to decide if the monthly subscription fees are necessary.
